AGENDA 2030: SUSTAINABILITY IN FASHION

Sustainable development goals are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and improve everyone's life and prospects, everywhere.
The 17 targets were adopted by all UN member states in 2015, under the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development which defined a plan to achieve the targets.

The pursuit of the objectives of the Global Agenda for sustainable development is not entrusted exclusively to national governments but requires the direct involvement of institutions and organizations, but also of companies and civil society.

Sustainable Development Goals are becoming a reference for companies in defining medium-long term sustainability strategies. According to the Global Fashion Agenda survey, the 17 SDGs can be a tool that companies can use to measure their performance in terms of sustainability.
